Vazil Hudák

Fund President and Strategic Advisory Board Chairman

Vazil Hudák is a distinguished expert with a strong background in banking and public administration, making him an ideal partner for development projects and investments within H2O FUND. As an advisor to several governments and corporations and a member of J.P. Morgan’s Advisory Council for the EMEA region, Vazil brings valuable strategic insights and an extensive network of contacts to H2O FUND. His experience in managing public sector and financial institutions, including his role as Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), adds credibility and expertise to H2O FUND’s projects. Vazil’s professional background also includes significant roles in the Slovak government, where he focused on
economic development and financial stability as Minister of Economy and State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance. His experience in leading financial institutions like J.P. Morgan Chase and Citigroup, combined with his academic background in international relations and diplomacy and an MBA from Harvard Business School, represents a blend of strategic thinking and practical implementation. Vazil’s ability to bridge the public and private sectors, along with his experience in developing infrastructure projects and financial mechanisms across Europe, the United Kingdom and Israel, is an invaluable asset to H2O FUND.

Peter Friedmann

Member of the Strategic Advisory Board

Peter Friedmann is an experienced executive and expert in strategic development and technological innovation, with extensive background in venture capital and startup support. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario, along with a P. Eng. license, reflecting his technical expertise and professional credentials. Peter began his career at Procter & Gamble, where he held senior management roles, contributing to product development and overseeing operational divisions.
After his tenure at Procter & Gamble, he expanded his business ventures globally across sectors, such as retail, distribution, steel and rubber manufacturing.
As a partner in a venture capital firm, he specializes in supporting technology-driven startups, particularly in healthcare and artificial intelligence, applying his strategic insight to foster innovation. In Europe, Peter led SKI TRUST, one of the Czech Republic’s largest industrial groups, where he played a key role in expanding and developing strategic business activities, including distribution networks and manufacturing facilities. At H2O FUND, Peter contributes his strategic experience, extensive network and expertise in technology investments, helping the fund achieve its goals in sustainable development and innovation.

Viktor Pomichal

Member of the Strategic Advisory Board

Viktor Pomichal is an accomplished corporate affairs and sustainability expert with a strong academic foundation and extensive experience in financial markets, asset management and corporate and financial reporting. He holds a Certificate in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute and has completed the Advanced Management and Leadership Program at University of Oxford, Said Business School. Additionally, Viktor earned an honours degree in English Language and Literature from University College London, grounding his professional capabilities in a blend of analytical and communication skills. His career has encompassed senior leadership roles in investment banking at UBS Investment Bank, where he specialized in derivatives and structured products.
Building on his investment banking expertise, he transitioned to asset management as Chief Investment Officer at Slovak Investment Holding, focusing on sustainable development initiatives and working on projects in renewable energy, SMEs, transport infrastructure and healthcare. Viktor also served as Managing Director for a public gold mining company, Ortac Resources Plc, where he oversaw stakeholder engagement and project permitting. Currently, Viktor is a Managing Director of Strategic Communications at FTI Consulting in London, leading the firm's Sustainability and ESG team. With dual UK-EU citizenship, he brings a global perspective and valuable expertise to H2O FUND’s Strategic Advisory Board.

Ondřej Ptáček

Member of the Strategic Advisory Board

Ondřej Ptáček is a respected expert in financial management, sustainable finance and investment strategy, whose extensive international experience brings valuable knowledge and a global perspective to H2O FUND. With a career that includes key roles in globally recognized organizations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic and the European Investment Fund in Luxembourg, Ondřej offers deep expertise in complex financial and investment structures. As Director of the Financial Instruments Department at the Czech-Moravian Guarantee and Development Bank, Ondřej focused on developing new products and strategic investments to support small and medium-sized enterprises.
His experience leading high-stakes projects involving billions worth of investment in public and private sector, as well as advancing financial tools for sustainable finance, makes him an invaluable member of H2O FUND’s strategic team. Ondřej is also the founder of Evergreen Advisory, a consulting firm providing specialized advisory services in financial management, ESG and fundraising. In addition to his consulting work, he is also a lecturer at the University of Finance and Administration in Prague, where he teaches international financial services and sustainable finance. With his global expertise and broad knowledge of the financial sector, Ondřej significantly contributes to the growth of H2O FUND and its strategic initiatives.
